He finally breaks down and explains that the man use to be a customer of his, who came here to complain about a cow that Neil sold him. The man says the cow became sick after Neil sold it to him, and so he believes Neil did it on purpose. When Neil asked the man how he was caring for the cow, it turns out the man wasn't doing a very good job. That's when they started arguing.
